Where it all begins!

This is where the foundation for the Paintrock Program experience is built. The students will be introduced to new surroundings, skills and experiences in a fun / camp setting, lending memories that will last a lifetime. This is not a one time program, but the beginning of something new, offering them an empty canvas to begin "painting / creating" their newly focused goals and aspirations. By removing them from their everyday lives and immersing them into a fresh, natural environment, they can begin to learn in a completely different way.

Camp Paintrock is located on a fourteen acre facility within a 7,000 + acre working cattle ranch. The camp will run two five-week sessions, offering the experience to two different groups of students each summer. The goal of the summer program is to bring the students back to basics. Surrounded by nature, the students will obtain a new appreciation for life, the environment and the realization of new horizons. Students will focus on concepts such as: teamwork, confidence, independence, inter-dependence, trust and self-esteem. While all of these experiences will take place in a "fun, camp environment," an educational element will also be built into the program teaching topics such as: environmental awareness, geology, botany, equestrian, livestock and wildlife appreciation.
